SD is the leading provider of JX to business aviation operators globally. We are also developing our Plane Simple™ Ka Antenna System to support the service.
Inmarsat Jet ConneX Subscriptions
Inmarsat offers a varying degree of high-speed Jet ConneX subscription plans. We have created a snapshot below to help you identify the ideal plan for you:
Committed Information Rate (CIR) is the speed that a user will experience if all subscribers who share the bandwidth simultaneously use the data connection.
Maximum Information Rate (MIR) is the maximum bandwidth that the subscriber can attain.
Download (DWN) refers to the rate that data is transferred from the Internet to your computer (e.g. streaming a movie)
Upload (UP) is the rate that digital data is transferred from your computer to the Internet (e.g. sending a file or video conferencing)
